Representatives of Research Centres and European Industry will provide an overview of their current and future developments in Earth observation instrumentation, including instruments dedicated to microsatellite missions. Challenges in the design of new generation Earth observation instruments will be explained.
Our planet Earth can be observed using either SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) technology or hyperspectral data. Examples of data processing methods and techniques will be presented for both domains. Related services are offered to the scientific community as well as to any actor involved in the field of risk management, observation, prevention and actions against environmental impacts, development and sustainability of mineral or agricultural resources, improvement of situation awareness and surveillance capability.
